Cockatiel weird beak noise

Hey! My boy George is about 3 years. We recently lost his girlfriend due to respiratory problems in December. Last week George made this noise with his beak, he’s done it before but that’s when we was chewing something he shouldn’t have been and didn’t make it since! I gave him a steam bath last week and he didn’t do it again. Until yesterday, so I gave him a steam bath and shower yesterday and he only done it about 3 times in the evening and I’ve noticed today he’s only done it when he’s been singing! Everything else is normal for him. So I’m so confused on what it could be!! I’ll try to upload a video some how. Thank you
