I posted the pic and didn't get to introduce myself, so

Hi, I am Laura Kay and this is my first post, These are my babies... Petey, Pearl, and Snowy are 2 yrs old, Belle is the youngest at 5 months, Ringo, Zazu and Arlo (aka Miami birds) are approx. a year old, Tito is 5yr old, Queso is 4yr, Elliot and Ella are 2-3 years old and I got as a proved pair and she is now sitting eggs. While Tito and Queso are not a pair they are companions and have been Quesos entire life, you can't tell it here but Tito is quite larger then all the rest of my tiels and he is also a velcro bird.

My Miami birds, well there is story in itself, so I went to pick up a 'pair' drove all night to get them, when I got there I felt bad leaving the one all by himself so I took him as well, I thought I was getting a pair (a female and a male) ended up with 3 males, they were in a cage and when we got them home and brought them in we wanted to let them stretch their wings a little and boy what a mess, they had NEVER been out of a cage, tried flying and wildly flew into everything, we caught them and they all drew blood biting us so we clipped their wings and within 2 days they were stepping up and becoming manageable, handling them a little every day and letting them get used to us and them watching the others they learned really quick, I mean within 2 weeks they were just as tame as the others, no biting and they are some of the best birds, other then waking us up with car alarms each morning lol what else do you expect from 'Miami' birds! lol

Elliot and Ella are a pair and are currently sitting eggs. I will share the new babies as soon as I can.

Petey and Pearl have mated about a year ago, they appeared they would be great parents and sat them eggs for about 40 days and I finally realized she would sit them a year if she could so I removed them, she has had no interest in mating since. :( Petey sings to her and seems interested but she just stays to herself now.

Oh, I posted Nuggs but not the boy we rescued last summer! This is Smokey. He's 2 and a half, and he's in love with a mini-Croc.

I'm down to just Redshift, my 23 (soon to be 24 in July!) year-old cockatiel when it comes to tiels. He's a real ham and gets along with my conure relatively well, LOL!

Meet Mango, he is around 8-9 months old I suppose. Just started whistle 2 months ago. So I'm guessing the age from that.

And Chai. She just came out of the nest 4 weeks ago, so I'm guessing she is 2 months old now. She's too cute and already steps-up in 5 days.

My baby boy Mimzy, 9 months old, hatch date was March 17 2025
He’s a pearl split cinnamon
Grew up with cockatiels but haven’t owned one for many years so I’m excited to have one in my life again :swoon:
Brought him home in late August
He’s super sweet, handfed/hand-raised
Lots of whistling and started mimicking me saying “Gimme kiss!” And making kissy noises, so cute
