cockatiel making weird chewing motion?

does anyone know why my male cockatiel has started doing this weird chewing motion with his beak? he’ll do it randomly throughout the day, whether he’s on me or on a perch, but nothing else about his behavior, physical appearance, or poop has changed.

Looks like he is grooming you? So perhaps just "muscle memory" type thing like he would do if he was preening a feather?
