My babies are now both around 28 to 30 days old they are slowly starting to refuse formal and more interested in bedding “soft wood nest” beneath them and yesterday my 30 day old started to nipple on some seeds I left on the ground.
My question is should I take them out of the nesting box and put them in a new cage and offer food and water but I will still continue to hand feed them or I should still keep them in the nesting box ?
both of them are flapping their wings around but they can’t fly yet .
I have covered the soft wood bedding with a cloth to make sure they don’t eat wood which they seem to love !
Please help .

After formula feeds, you can offer a small plate of veggies and some soaked pellets.
Let them try some adult foods.

Remember each feed should still be that 10% of their weight.

Your bird is 4 weeks old, so there´s still plenty of time for them to wean, there´s no rush.
