Hi! My tiel, Stanley, started having trouble balancing while walking today...at first I thought he just tripped and did a little drunk walk, but then I realized it’s his balance...on his right side. He seems normal otherwise...he’s not tilting his head to the right, he can fly normally, he can stand in his perch fine and he’s still acting himself. But he can’t catch his balance. I noticed he tucked his right foot under his feathers while sleeping but I don’t know if it’s because he somehow hurt his foot or he can’t balance in it for some other reason. Help! I’m worried. Has this ever happened to your tiel?

What's his diet like? I ask because my Jardine's had balance and grip issues and it was due to his diet which was low in Calcium and D3

Have you tried giving him his own bird bread that will give him more nutrients?
Either way, I'd have him checked by a vet, if for no other reason than to make sure he's not in pain.
