I was recently told I shouldn't have Finn in the same room as a real Christmas tree b/c the smell of the pine is bad for his respiratory system. He's in the same room as the tree during the day, but sleeps upstairs. Our tree is a Frasier Fur and isn't as fragrant as a Balsam. I don't even smell it. Should I move Finn to another room?

Thank you for that! The thing I'm concerned about is the scent being bad for his respiratory system. Can anyone speak to this? I don't leave Finn unattended in the room so I'm not concerned about sap or ornaments (I don't use tinsel). I also don't use colored or flashing lights which he may find distressing.
