Hello All!

We are trying to find a place to put our (artificial) Christmas Tree.

Last year we put it beside Sunny's cage and there were no issues...this year Mars' cage is there. How upsetting would it be if we moved Mars across the room? He would still see Sunny and they would be close, but not side by side.

We move our CAG to a different room every Christmas for a full month. She does fine. She's currently in the same room as my B&G Macaw. She gets moved into the room with our U2.

I think if you plan on keeping the cage in the same room & they can see each other it'd be fine.

It depends on the bird!

Jingo and Koopa always had cages next to each other. When we moved to a new house, I put them on either side of a 3 to 4 foot wide window, not thinking anything of it.

Koopa FREAKED OUT. She screamed non stop for hours. I finally figured out why and had to rearrange the room and put them back side by side. She was fine after that!

Well... I think Sunny probably likes it better. Mars seems okay... I feel sorry for her, she flies towards where her cage was and then diverts. Reminds me of us humans when you change something on us.

Maybe get her out on top of her cage and feed her some treats. She just needs to adjust :)
