Well Cheddar pulled a repeat and once again I had big mess to clean up. But I noticed right away the grate had been push way out, how he did this I'm not sure. So I repapered it with computer paper and then using a clothespin that I took apart, tossed the spring as it's not needed, wedged the grate in place. Looks kind of junky but it's only a test. If this work I'll come up with t nicer way to lock the grate in place. If not I'll just scream!
