The K.I.S.S. principle in all its glory.
My homework look very much like that when I was in jr high school.
I had a beautiful blue keet named, Dockey.
I think my laying hen could destroy that in less than 10 mins. Of course a 'Too would destroy this in 10 minutes, max.
Yes, I made these toys at a workshop at my CAV's clinic. All of the supplies were included in the cost of the class. The plate has a pattern printed on it but it is not coated or waxed. Someone asked about the safety of TP rolls. The vet said she has heard concerns expressed about them but said she has seen no studies or proof that this is a problem. My lovie hen played with TP rolls her whole life...on of her favorite toys. She lived to be 15. Not super old for a lovebird but not young either. She didn't shred them, however. Just stuffed her upper body in them and ran around until it came off or she fell over. It was a hoot!A good point you make Rick.
Maureen learned at a group hosted by the vet tech how to make safe and fun toys, so I´m sure these are paper. But a good thing to mention for anyone viewing this thread wanting to give it a go
