Chaz decided that Beau's food bowl was his!

Fed Beau our sheltie his biscuits as per usual, but he has to have them in the sittingroom to stop the other two larger dogs taking them off him.
Chaz is always out in the afternoons and he suddenly decided that the bowl was his!
John watched scared for Chaz and I ran for the camera.
It was not Chaz he needed to worry about but poor old Beau! Chaz ordered him around and took his bowl off him, poor boy cannot even eat his biscuits in comfort away from the other dogs.
He got around the problem by carrying some biscuits from the bowl and eating them on the floor.
The biscuits I had put on the floor to keep Chaz safe, were left, he wanted the ones in the bowl they tasted much better!

Awwwwww That is adorable! Good boy, Beau! Good boy! If my birds were allowed in the kitchen (where our dogs' dishes are), I'm sure they'd go after the kibble too!

Last night was another breakthrough with Chaz, he actually waggled his tootsy in mid air asking me to pick him up and escort him to his cage! He has up to now managed to get back in under his own steam.
Suddenly wanted the same treatment as all the others and told to step up and put in onto the perch.
That was such a boost to me, it has been such slow going with him up to now.

John put out his hand to get him to step up a few minutes ago and he went to beak him! He has never ever bitten one of us, so hope it is not a sign of things to come!
He is dying to come out but we are expecting a visitor and he has to stay put.

chaz has now fallen in love with our five yr old Grey Scooby and is really smitten with her. He hangs onto the top of her cage while out and as close to her as he can get. They then both sit preening themselves.
When Scooby comes out they even sit on the perch stand together and just love each others company. Think Jay is losing his partner in crime to a bit of skirt!

That was a great picture of Chaz and your dog. Poor puppy can't get any peace anywhere. Its just wonderful that Chaz is making progress it has been a long time coming. I know my Chatot GW Macaw and my Grey are becoming friends but I'm a little worried about that because of the dust from my Grey it is so bad for Macaw and Pulmonary Hypersensitivity Syndrome and there is no cure for it. I'm going to be separating then as soon as I can make room for Chatot's cage in a different room. At the moment I have an air cleaner beside my Greys cage to help pull the dust away from Chatot

I am showering them all plenty, but I know the worry is there for me especially during the cold Winter months when they are all living together side by side.
Come Spring and Summer if the weather is warmer and dry they do spend a lot of time outdoors in the fresh air, so not too much of a problem then.
We have been talking of building an outside aviary for them for during the daytime, but need to put our heads together and come up with some kind of a plan that will work for them all.
