CHANGE IN NM LAW!! Parrots Now Legal!

I just got an email from NM Fish and Game. They have revised the list of animals that are restricted (or require permits) to be imported into the state. PARROTS are now level 1! This means that you do not need a permit or permission to import them! This is such great news! There are a few exceptions- like the Spix Macaw, lol- but basically all parrots are level 1 now. Thanks to everyone who called or emailed fish and game with to voice their concerns. It really paid off! Here is a link to the new list.
