I have had my parrotlet for about a year now and he has always been a sweet and loving bird. He used to let me give him scritches and he would cuddle and overall just be a little magnet bird. Though a couple months ago my mom got a bird as well he is a little lovebird and soon my bird didn't want to be around me anymore. It started with him flying away just so he could look at the lovebird and as soon as he was out of quarantine my parrotlet wanted nothing to do with me and would only want to spend time with his new lovebird buddy. At first it wasn't to bad and I thought it was just him being excited about a new bird around but now he wont let me give him scritches or barely touch him. He will still step up but the second he is away from the lovebird he cries and cries. I don't know what to do, it makes me feel as if he doesn't want to be around me anymore. Can someone please help?
