Cat sprayed in large plastic doghouse - dogs won't go in after cleaning

Our dogs hang out in a large plastic kennel on our porch when they are outside. Apparently, a cat sprayed in it because it smelled strongly of urine and had a stain on the wall of the kennel. We washed it several times with dish soap, but I think I can still detect a faint smell of urine. The dogs won't go in no matter what.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of the smell? And will using vinegar and/or bleach repel the dogs even more? This kennel wasn't cheap and I can't let this pesky neighborhood cat win.

I think I saw a bottle of that under that cabinet that my wife bought at some point. Yes, I'll try that.

Yes, it comes in two pieces like many dog crates. Airing out in the sun is the way I've handled old musty musical instrument cases. I'll do that too.

Hopefully once done, they will start using it again. Right now, they are getting filthy out in the yard.

How about enzyme cleaner? Our house was filled with cat urine when we moved here and it's what took it out

In addition to the other ideas, try peroxide + baking soda. Make a paste. Use a toothbrush & really rub it in. Removes odors & stains, even of rabbit urine. It may help.
