This is so perfect for cat owners!! My cat used to tip the tree every year! We also had to stop using tinsel so she didn’t have a festively decorated butt all Christmas season!

We actually made a poster board tree when my fur babies were still around. Every Xmas eve we'd come home from festivities & we'd have to re-do the tree & then wrap all the presents. I had to throw the posterboard out finally a few years back. I bought a small wire tree that sits on a tabletop & it's around Buddy sized. It's just right for us. I do miss the lights & maybe I'll put some up above a doorway & just use a command strip's to keep the wiring up against the wall. We'll see!

We hung our six foot tree from the ceiling as well for two years. They (27 cats) climbed it, but aside ffrom redecorating every morning it was good! When the kids and my wife left me, I substituted a three foot round evergreen wreath mounted on the wall above cat jumping height. Worked really great! Mounted it on the wall across from the picture window so I could share it with the neighbors.

I remember one year while still raising the guide dog pups (Lab and Lab mix) thinking it was safe to decorate my tree with beautiful little decoupaged styrofoam balls. They were Victorian decor. Boy they were pretty. Keyword... WERE!

We put our tree up yesterday, the cat has yet to discover it, I wonder how long it will take?

My wife and I bred Maine Coons and Siamese. We each had 12 favorites. When she left me she left all her cats and her eight parrots (which I was terrified of) with me. She did take her two dogs, but when she moved back to Florida two years later, she sent them back to me before she and the kids left PA!

Love is blind! And makes you really dumb!
