Can't fly

My blue headed pionus is almost 2 years old and still can't fly. The last time she had her wings clipped was over a year ago from the place we got her from. Her aviary vet checked her out and all seems fine yet she won't fly. She's out all day, walks down her ladder and walks around the house. She can glide down if we force her to fly, she just won't do it herself. Any ideas on the matter? Thanks

My Jardine's is about 27 and he also can't really fly. He can glide down but can't maintain altitude. He climbs everywhere by choice, even when wings would be absolutely easier.

My 5 year old B&G Macaw also won't fly. When she's out of her cage she climbs, walks, etc. She hardly ever flaps her wings. I know she can, as she did it when I got her at 4 months of age. JaKhu was hard clipped by the parrot store when I got her. I was told they fledge her. I know she has a major fear of falling. She's been fully flighted ever since. I've tried many times to get her to fly, but she refuses.

It took Lurch, a Maximilian Pionus, 6 months to get his flights back after he arrived here clipped. The first time he startled right after they were back he flapped and went straight up into the air and back down looking like how did that happen. Once he knew they worked again he built up his strength and was flying great all over in a few months.
You might want to try just getting her on your arm and dropping it a bit over something soft so she has to flap so she gets the idea to use them again. She's probably out of shape like Lurch was at first too so she chooses not to use them.

If he has not learned to fly, he is a little beyond the period where he would naturally learn. You can try an approach where you get 2 training stands(or 2 chairs work fine too, turn them towards each other with the backs), and put them close together. Train him to step from one unto the other, then slowly increase the distance where the step becomes a jump, and eventually a big jump with flap hopefully, and then a fly. You can use target training too here, sometimes to focus on the target helps them not think too much about what they are doing and suddenly they took a big jump/fly
