Hi,

I have got a quaker baby to raise. Raising it on psittacus formula.
The breeder said it's a green pallid quaker. Somebody else says it's blue turquoise.

Can you guys help?

Hello! I believe this bird is a turquoise pallid. You can tell it's turquoise because of the pale blue-green color, and you can tell that it's pallid because of the light-colored flight feathers. I'm not sure why your breeder said it was a green pallid, usually those are pretty identifiable as nestlings. Green pallids have yellow-green feathers while turquoise pallids do not.

That QP does look like a turquoise pallid Quaker. The turquoise variants have distinctive coloration that sets them apart from other color mutations.
