I found these two eggs lying down the street inside it's nest after a long storm. I figured the mom won't come back for it, So I took it with me. I wonder what kind of bird specie this egg came from? I thought it was a house sparrow egg but I think it's a little too small for that?

I think sparrow eggs are speckled.
