I have a male dove who does not have a mate and I've been wanting to get him one. I got him in December from someone who has been trying to rehome her doves (she has about twenty of them)
however, she got him ten years ago. My specialty are budgies; I don't know a lot about doves. If I got him a female would he be able to successfully produce babies?

(Noah is an albino ringneck, he has had a mate in the past and has bred before)

If he's in good condition (has been seen by a vet) I don't see why not; 11 isn't extremely old. But are you very committed to the idea of breeding him? Would you keep the babies or sell them? You could also get him a mate but not let them hatch eggs; doves do a lot better in pairs.

Also, do you a pic of him you could share? :D
