California Bird Nerds has just added a bunch of new items. The first one is my favorite. It was supposed to be on the website before Christmas but due to some Balsa Supply issues we had to postpone its debut. We still think it will be loved by birds year-round.

Ooh this looks fun! Great additions! Riley's still set for a bit from my last order, but I'm definitely starting a list.

I don't know if it would be worth the work for you, but I would also totally buy a box of random toy building parts. Geared toward small, medium, large birds or towards different interests (all wood vs plastic + wood).

I will add those to my shopping list! Are they all pine pieces? Riley nibbles pine but loses interest when it's too hard, so I mostly get him balsa now since the pine pieces haven't been destroyed yet.

They are hardwood and not pine.

You could do like toy parts kits. Only thing is often there is something in a kit that they may not like. There are various types you could make up.

Just got my order — so much fun stuff! My Hahn’s is just learning about toys and starting to feel more comfortable with them, so the pieces are great to scatter around (with some of the nuts and seeds she covers!). If she will investigate something individually, I incorporate it into a toy for her!
