Caique Pellets

Hi everyone! I recently got a baby caique, and he LOVES to eat. Which is great, because it’s been pretty easy to get him to eat pellets and vegetables. However, I’m afraid to feed him too much. Today I gave him almost 28 grams of pellets to see how much he would eat, and he ate all of it! How much pellet do you feed your caique? Also how much fresh vegetables and fruits. (I use Harrison’s pellets)

For babies I don't limit their food. If he's still new, he'll probably settle down and quit eating so much...

Except mine is 3 and still eating a LOT (often).

Stop all this rationing nonsense. Let the bird eat as much as he wants. AS LONG AS HE FLIES EVERY DAY.

I have a two year old who eats all day long. She is big and healthy and flies like a scud missile.

Thinking of renaming her Miss Piggy. But that bird can rocket across the avairy.

Plus, to a baby, food is a big part of feeling secure and loved

Mine eat about 50% pellets. A very high quality onr
