image.jpg So, I spent about 2 months decorating my bird’s cage, and the bottom half is completely blank except for 1 perch along with a toy. What perches/toys could I fill up on a budget? Although I’m about to get 75$-200$ depending on chance next year, I still need a way to buy perches and decorate his cage with fun perches and toys that help him get around.
Info: he’s 7 months old. Since the breeder clipped his wings, they are starting to grow back, so he can fly relatively short distances.

I don't have but a couple perches and no toy in the lower parts of my cages. My bird will stay in the top no matter how much stuff I have in the bottom so all they do to the stuff down there is poop on it. I'd buy a couple of wood branch perch for the lower parts and more toy to rotate in and out of the upper where they will play with them.

Well I misspoke when I said "Where they WILL play with them" it should have been "Where they MIGHT play with them" my mistake...don't want to get anyone's hopes up. ;):(

I have platforms over some perches to keep them from pooping on the lower branches. You can put an eye hook in the bottom of the platform to hang toys. Check out @Macawnutz for perches. It's really odd maybe but mine gravitate to the shorter branches.

Is there a reason the whole cage is covered in netting?

I to keep the lower third quite empty, like Mark, my birds aren´t interested in being down there

I have a nice long rope perch towards the bottom of Jade's cage. I also have a little bowl of toy parts, she likes to play with them as foot toys.

Seed catcher..he eats like a pig.
I would vacuum more often and remove the seed catcher. They can be dangerous. Bird's feet can get tangled in them causing serious harm. Yes seeds can be messy but they vacuum up easily :)

There are also some dishes that catch more seeds, but I don't use them. I want to bird to be able to reject the shells if they want.
