So I am getting an IRN here in a few months as a present to myself for my 30th birthday (which will still be spent in quarantine )
I have been doing a lot of research on the breed & also on cages and I came up with this list of different cages. I was wondering if any of you own these cages & if you like them? Trying to narrow it down to a smaller list to choose from!
Also - if there isn't one on the list that you think should be. Please let me know!

I have this A&E one from Petsmart and I highly recommend, its sturdy and still looks brand new. Moki loves it too (she is a cockatiel).

Get the absolute largest cage you can. In my opinion you need to have at least a length of 1 meter (36"). The height is less important than length. I know your bird will get time out of the cage, but as life has it this is hard to guarantee this always and forever so the cage should be large enough to suit normal behaviours so that your bird can be comfortable when you are at the grocery store.. etc

So go absolute as big as you can afford with safe bar spacing.
IRN bar spacing should be between 1.5cm or so.. I think that is 5/8" but don't go bigger than 1" bar spacing-risk with that their head could get stuck. So take this seriously bar spacing will probably be the biggest concern after you find a large cage.

the xxl macaw cage is a great dimensions but the bar spacing is too narrow- sadly
