Hi! I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this type of subject..
I have a cockatiel and recently a half a year ago switched him to a larger cage that wheels around. Cleaning it was always easy since I would wheel it outside, hose it down, and let it sun dry. I would soak all of his perches, toys, etc in hot water with a little bit of soap and then rinse them off.
Now that it's fall, when it gets colder, we turn the hose off so the pipes don't freeze.
I've been wondering and trying to prepare how to clean his cage inside since I can't fit it in the bath tub? Do I scrub with a sponge? I feel like the hose is great because it washes all of the hidden seed and poop within the cracks.. I like to clean it around once a week, so it takes me about an hour or so to do the whole process.

Thanks!
Emmalyn

I mostly just wash with Nature's Miracle, and if something needs eradicated, a steam cleaner works perfectly :)
