I want to change the original wheels that came on my parrots cage to rubber wheeled castors. Is there an average “go to caster” that can be used? I want to be able to move the cages easily.

Maybe ones meant for office chairs?

Ebay and amazon or your local hardware store would most likely carry a standard castor wheel. Screenshot_20230125-230947_Chrome.jpg

Lowe's may have them as well. You need to remove one wheel & measure the width & length of the post, as they come in different sizes. We took a wheel off my macaws cage & took it to Lowe's & got the ball type wheels. As long as you get the same size post any type of wheel should fit.

If they're anything like the ones on my King's cages (which are metric), I didn't find them widely available (big box stores in Canada offered imperial options).

My starting suggestion, like Toy's, is to measure what you have, which can be done by taking one of them into a local hardware store and using their bolt sizer.

Then pay attention to the load rating of the replacement casters.
