Cage bottom

Within the last few weeks when I put my timneh African grey in her sleeping cage she prefers to sleep on the bottom of the cage when I come in the room she climbs up back on the perch but then climb down to the bottom to sleep when she is in her daytime cage she purchase and some time she will get on the bottom any ideas

Is there something on the bottom of the cage such as food or a toy that she could be trying to get to?

You could try installing a low platform perch. I have to keep food and toys picked up from the bottom or mine will go down there in a heartbeat.
