Cage Bar Size

Hi! I'm looking for a big cage for an African Grey. But all the big cages I find have a 1-inch bar spacing (I want a 3/4 bar spacing). I have been looking at several places like A&E and Kings Cages but have yet to find one. Please if you have any recommendations let me know. Thanks!

Is the grey a Timneh or Congo? If he’s a Congo up to 1in would be good. For a Timneh I would use 3/4.

Just want to check that you are aware of the health concerns and have a way to keep your macaw and your grey separate. If not it will be a good idea to read up on the issues of keeping old and new world birds together or within the same airspace- it can be deadly to macaws in particular.

My timneh was small and he did fine in a 1 inch cage. In fact I thought it was 3/4 until I measured it for the new conure (which sadly can't use it)
