Hard to sneak up on these two, but this is how they spend most of their time

Winston takes his bathing very seriously, it takes alot to maintain the fluff

Also I know it's unlikely but is there a solution to shredding the cage liner paper? I hate cleaning the grate in this cage but I cant have the paper on top because Sunebeam rips it all up

I had the same problem, removed the paper for a couple of months and had to clean the bottom of the cage every day. Now she forgot she loved to shred the paper so paper is back ;-)
In another cage I covered the bottom with a towel. Change it every week instead of every day but there is only one bird and he poops over the same spot the whole week so it keeps relatively clean. To clean the towel, I let the poop dry and and rub it over the sharp edge of a fence. The dry poop falls almost entirely that way, I just have a few spots to remove by rubbing them out with a corner of the towel.

I haven't taken many recent pics of my budgies, but this was Obsidian singing today. Obsidian is my oldest budgie now, he's also the last of what I considered my "original budgies" (that included LJ, Allura, Sapphire, Opal, Jasper and Obsidian)
