So I have a budgie that's laid four eggs. They've all since been replaced with fake ones, but today when I went to check on her today she's lost enough feathers on her chest to cause a bald/thin spot.
I've heard that birds often use their own feathers when nesting and that this bald spot isn't uncommon in chickens, but is this normal for budgies or should she be seeing a vet right now?
