hello, i have a budgie who recently flew into a window. its been 2 days since that happened and he’s recovering nicely. the only issue is that his right eye won’t close! i’m not able to contact a vet at this time so i came here for help. does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong?

Do you have a photo to share with us? If it's swollen it would be best to have a vet look at it.

i don’t think it’s swollen but it’s definitely doing something weird. when he tries to shut it his eye does this weird squinty thing and his pupil constricts.
This may just be a temporary thing but he should definitely see a vet.
If you can handle him you'll likely feel a swelling just above his eye. As there's no swelling of the actual eye then it's likely not a brain injury.
But then, I'm not a vet.
