I figured I should probably make a thread to post Buddy pictures and updates, rather than making new threads…

Anyways, look who’s finally going to be getting new flight feathers! He’s been getting a lot more comfortable fluttering around, so I can’t wait for him to get used to having some unclipped feathers. I went running to my mom to show her as soon as I found these lol.



Here’s some bonus pictures. I promise he does more than just cuddle, I just can’t ever get him to stay still for a picture otherwise!

Looks like he's starting to grow some of his shoulder feathers back too! We had to board him for a few days the weekend after Thanksgiving and he barbered his shoulders like crazy while we were gone.

He doesn't seem to be overpreening nowadays, so I'm hoping the new feathers will stay

Welp… not an update I was hoping to have to give. I’ve been in the ER for about three hours now and I have no idea how much longer I’ll be here. Hoping I’ll be home in time to wake my boy up, but I have no idea. At least I’m feeling much better now that I have some medicine in me, and I’m sure that someone can take care of Buddy. Should be getting out in a few more hours though

Here he is chewing on an old feather this morning. Somehow he’s managed to dye the underside of the skin around his eye pink

Probably from rubbing against a dyed toy right after a bath

Oh boy. We (my mom and I) put on some kids songs to try and figure out what Buddy likes. We already knew he liked Apples and Bananas, but I think we found his new favorite. He went absolutely CRAZY for Baby Shark. We sang along, and every time we said “do do do do do do” he would start chirping like crazy trying to sing along too

Moved his cage back to the usual spot (we had moved it for the Christmas tree and I hadn’t gotten around to it until yesterday) and put out the Valentine’s Day toys. He’s not in this pic because he was hanging out on my hand
