Hello. My B&G just fell. He scraped his left cheek where there are no feathers. There isn't any blood. It's red and looks bruised. Will it be safe for me to apply fresh aloe vera? He keeps scratching it so I'm sure it's bothering him. Thank you.

Aloe Vera is perfectly safe and has many good healing properties! ..Except for me, I'm deathly allergic!

Thank you for for the responses and the link. I applied the aloe vera to his cheek. He's fine. He ate dinner and now he is preening. I just don't like to see my Baby with a bruise on his cheek. I'll apply some more later tonight.
