Today we noticed that one of his tail feathers were sticking out and we found that the feather was broken; it isn't bleeding it's just halfway snapped sort of dangling there sticking out of place. InkedfylyCdC_LI.jpg IMG_3998.jpg IMG_3996.jpg The soonest we can bring him to the vet is Thursday. Is this normal or is it an emergency? Anything we should do?
Thanks

If not bleeding, just leave it. He will eventually remove it.

Mr Blue Butt is just fine! ;)

As mentioned, you can either snip it off where it broke or leave it for your bird to take of himself.

It would only be a concern if it was a blood feather that was bleeding and you need to get the blood to stop. A fully grown feather that's broken with no blood supply? It's fine!
