Broke a avian sun bulb(mercury)

So about 3 to 4 weeks ago I broke the bulb while trying to unscrew it my thumb went threw it creating a small hole and a piece of glass falling in the cage (the bird wasn’t in it ) I didn’t realize how dangerous this was and I didn’t do anything at the time except throw it away andd clean the glass.
is there anything I should do now or is damage done? I’ve read some scary things about breaking these bulbs

You should be fine if you cleaned it up and bird wasn't near.

Mercury when broken from the glass like a thermometer turns into little round beads.

Not sure how it is in a bulb though.
