Oscar is doing great. George can now usually get him to step up onto his arm (if he hides his hand in his sleeve so Oscar can't see it) from inside of his cage. No more toweling him to bring him into the temporary playroom which is our bedroom. The other day though I changed his cage set up a little bit. He wasn't happy about it. He never is. But he must have been really mad because the next day when George went to get him out he bit him pretty badly.
He shares the bird room with Cracker now and the Tiels are using my office as their bedroom. He seems to really enjoy Cracker's company. He's become much more responsive to me when I'm in the room with them then he was when Cracker wasn't there. He clicks and whistles and makes his funny Oscar noises and says pretty bird a lot and tries to shove food through his cage bars towards Cracker, which I've never seen him do before.
Neither George nor I can remember the last time he went into his screamies about the Paper, the Paper, the Paper! We think that's a good thing.
