My cockatiel keeps breaking her blood feathers. She had a botched wing clip before we adopted her, and it left her completely unable to fly. After that, she got quite a bit of wing damage from falling, but her flight feathers (which grew back) keep breaking even when she hasn't fallen or been injured. They keep growing back and breaking over and over again, and I don't know what to do about it. Her personality has changed a bit from the pain I have to assume she's in.
What can I do to help her and stop her feathers from breaking? Could they be weakened from the post-wing clip feather damage? I'm really worried about her.
