Here are a couple pics I took of her just now...I know she looks a little ragged but she has been through so much....she has a good appetite which is a huge plus!
I have the space heater on in there to keep her warm. At first i kept her cage covered a bit but she seemed to want to see out the window so I removed it.

I scheduled an appointment at Penn for Weds at 1PM for her recheck....will find out then if they can be back in the same cage....I know they hate being alone.

She looks so cute holding her food
My bird groomers (vet techs) came today to clip nails and they cleaned up Bonnie's cute little sutured butt....they said it looks good but so sore and tender....poor thing....

Somehow I missed this but I am glad that all went well. She is a little fighter and she is a pretty girl

Bonnie is doing well. She had her re check yesterday and all is healing but not quite enough to put her in with Clyde. I did put her in a little larger cage so she can move around. She is still swollen a bit and sore, so she is still on all her meds. She is pooping much better but it is still sticking to her butt so needs to be cleaned off, which she hates. Hopefully that will improve in time. She will never be normal there, but if she is more comfortable and able to pass poops, then I am happy.

At U of Penn she is known as the infamous Bonnie! lol In 2006 when she had the first surgery, it was a first for them...they had never seen this type of growth, etc....her case was actually in a journal! So now she is well known by all the doctors there. Dr. Latney saw her yesterday and she is the doctor that saved Kiwi....she said she never made the connection to Kiwi and "the infamous Bonnie"! lol
