Blue Rumped and Hanging Parrot

The male Blue rump is first, then the Hanging Parrot and finally the female blue rump.
They were owned by a member from another forum who moved and could not take them with them. It is prohibited to remove from thier natural country and they are protected.
They are the only member of the genus psitticus. Thier full name is Psitticus cyanus. They are from Malaysia.
They are alittle bigger then lovebirds and look at the size of thier eyes!
The hangin parrot is very tiny and they along with fig parrots are difficult to keep in captivity. Thought you would enjoy seeing.

Oh my gosh...they are beautiful!! They look so much bigger than love bird size!! Are the blue rumped a breeding pair? I have never seen or heard of them before.

The Blue rumps are not a breeding pair. They are brother and sister, I believe. All 3 birds are hand tame.
