Blue-naped babies update...

The little fostered chick that hatched out in the incubator is finally a big bird. it can fly so I put it in with the other 3 brats that I am handfeeding/weaning.

I did notice something odd about it's back. It has 2 white feathers. It's daddy has a diluted tips to a couple of his back feathers. Whereas the babies odd feathers are the full feather. I'm not sure why that is an emailed several blue-naped breeders.

------------------------------------- Look at these faces...they look like refugees. When they want some formula they will all hang and stare at me chitterring to be fed. The little BN took to hanging with the others like a pro

Below them is their fruit dish...but no, if they can beg they will...LOL

The older BN will fly out of the carrier as soon as I open the top, and land on my back or shoulder. Kirby will catch him hand handfeed him a couple of soaked pellets until I can feed him.

Today I am sending off the feathers for sexing, so Ill soon know what they are. With the WB there are 2 different feels to the body so I think a male and female. The BN are harder to tell because they are little butterballs. Please, be at least 1 female...fingers crossed
