Today I let my budgies out of the cage as normal but I just realized one of them is bleeding from her foot. It must have happened recently because I checked on them about 1/2 hour ago and she was fine. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of blood but she is quite obviously in pain, she’s fluffed up and is holding her leg up. Anybody know what to do??? It doesn’t look like a very bad injury but she’s not tame yet so I can’t get close enough to put cornstarch on it, or anything of the sort.

Can you gently towel her for the corn starch application? Of course if you cant and the bleeding continues its time for a vet visit. Also since there is blood seen she may need antibiotics.

You could darken the room to calm the budgies. Just enough light to towel her.
