Black colored beaks VS Horn colored beaks?

Is it just moi? :D Or do Black colored beaks seems stronger than horn colored beaks?:huh:

It's not the beak that is stronger. It's the bird behind the beak. (And the meaner he is, the better he is at using it) :D

Black beaks look more intimidating imo.:eek: Except for Amazons.. they also look intimidating even though their beaks aren't black.:hehe::huh:

I was gonna say I know of a certain horn colored beak Zon who can really pack a punch with his!! Ive got a brand spankin new welt on my hand from today to prove it :o: :)

I would personally say it depends on the bird. My cockatoos have super dooper strong black beaks, but they are oh so gentle the only time I see them use their strength is when they chew up wood.

Pua my RLA(red lored amazon) has a horn colored beak, and although her beak isnt nearly as strong at my 'toos due to size and how she doesnt have a 3 point bite, she is still strong. I have never suffered a full blown bite from her, but I know someone who has and its not pretty.

Mera has both colored beaks, and although she is just a baby, she has a strong beak too :)

Emmett can put a lot of pressure behind his beak, however, lucky for me he understands "be gentle." :lol:
