Hello everyone :dance4:
I am still new here:)
Does anyone know why does my lovebird bite other people's toes when she is near me while I'm lying down? Is it just protectiveness or just curiosity?
Thanks :hug8:

I would say both , but among the Love bird world toe bitting is a federal offense, I'm always on them to not do that to each other, it takes time but it has stopped quiet a bit. the beak is a tool to one up each other, as part of the flock they listen to me . With a long wooden stick I keep breaking them up.

Zazu loves to bite toes!!! I think it's a game for him, because he knows the toes will flinch and he'll be able to run after them and bite them again. I just avoid having bare feet around Zazu, it's not really a big deal.
