yes bismark and rosie came at different times but they fell in love...i wont place my ekies without another ekie or their new home has to have one already...Sandy on this board..lotsabirds...adopted 2 from me also... a while back Kiwi and Tiki...she is a wonderful bird mom...she has helped me out SOOO much the last couple yrs

We have been foster parents to kids of all ages and host parents for high school exchange students. We always cry when they leave. But, we don't think you can do your job if you don't love them enough that it hurts when they leave.

Yep, I have Kiwi and Tiki, both I adopted from Tanya. As well as Shadow (CAG) Rolly (CAG) and my daughters birds she adopted (2 tiels, Sunny and Tweet and Zoey a painted conure). We adore them all.
Here is a blurry pic of Kiwi I took last night (cell phone) but you can see he is talented, he can hold food in his foot. And one of Tiki too.

Congratulations on finding Rosie and Bismark their perfect forever home as well,
Hard to let the fosters go, but I always feel so great when I get the picture updates of them a couple of weeks later, settled in and adored by their new family and looking happy as can be. And, there is always another bird/cat/dog that needs a loving home to stay in while they wait for their perfect family to find them!
I can just imagine how rewarding it is. You wonderful people are so admired by me for all your hard work.
