OOPS!!!
I just found out that I could have introduced myself instead of jumping right in like I belonged..
Anyway after a few posting I thought I better do that..
I live in Peterborough, Ontario and have a Jardine named Newbie..
He is 2 and a half now and have had him since he was two months old..I was able to bring him home a bit earlier as my breeder taught me how to feed him his soft food...
Of course it was all over the counter and on him and me. but what fun we had and he managed somehow to survive and so did I!!!..
I am 78 years old so can only really only be owned by one parrot as he will outlive me by years as you all know, otherwise I would might get the same disease as a lot of you have with a house full of fids to boss me around..
I have had many birds over my lifetime, budgies, teils, love birds but Newbie is my first parrot...
Anyway I am happy to be here and see some friends from the Perch and get to reconnect and meet and make new friends...
I am soo proud of the gang that pulled this together and am truly enjoying the whole new/old experience..
