Anyone else do bird themed baking?
We normally travel for our anniversary but since the start of the pandemic we just stay at home
Yesterday was our 19th and I made a birds nest cake.

If anyone has some other ideas, I'd love to hear / see your photos!

I wish I could bake that well! I love the second one as well, it's so detailed!
Maybe I'll try tweaking my sugar cookie recipe to make something parrot themed.

Oh sorry if I was misleading... I should've said :o: The birdies on the cupcakes are marshmallows that I bought printed like that! I made the branch though.
Also the eggs and birds on the nest cake are sugar cubes shaped like that. The birds are supposed to sit on the edge of your cup.
I used to work with fondant etc but I just don't have the energy these days. But even cheating like this helps me feel a little bit creative just putting it all together

Edit: but thanks so much for your kind words x
