Bird going into labour?

Is my bird going into labour? She has been actively mating for around a month. Her belly has gotten bigger and she has just gone into her nesting box and is extremely protective of it. She is just laying there occasionally preening her feathers around the area the eggs come out of.

*UPDATE* 8 hours later and she layed her first egg!!!

Are you experienced with what comes next if the egg is fertile? She may have a chick emerging in a little more than 3 weeks if you need to prepare and offer support along the way.
