My bird has not got a very good grip on my finger and the perch and keeps falling to the bottom.. I am worried about her. Any help to improve foot strength?

Hello,
Have you visited the vet? It is always a good place to start.
You may want to line your cage with a blanket to cushion any falls, and put the perches lower down.

edit; Is this the same bird with the eye infection?

It is best visit the vet and get all these things checked out in one go.
If you need help locating a vet, just ask and we can help you

Yep, same bird. Poor baby :(
I'm saving up money for a avian vet.
I hope she won't pass away in the process..

If you live in the USA, you may be able to get "Care Credit". You can charge the vet costs to the Care Credit car and have six months no interest to pay it off.

Here is the site; Veterinary Financing | CareCredit

I did what you said, and here is her rn.

I will feed her water though a syringe, she has access to food and water

Please don´t do that. It is too easy to drown a bird like that.
Bringing the dish close should be enough. If your bird cannot drink, they really need medical help.

You said in your other thread that you cannot afford the vet, is there no one who can lend you the money? Please try asking around again.
Call your local vet and see if you can work something out with them, pay another day etc? You never know, they might be open to that, I understand some vets won´t but it is worth asking.

I'm sure some vets may be able to work out a payment plan.

It seems like your little bird needs medical care urgently, please get some help. Little birds hide their illnesses, by the time we suspect they are sick it is already quite serious

It doesn't appear that Europe has a Care Credit type business.

Your bird appears as though it may be too weak to perch :(

Your poor baby needs a vet asap. Sigh...however if that is impossible do you have a heating pad? Put a towel under the cage with the heating pad on low underneath. Put a towel around the cage leaving the front exposed. Put food and water in shallow dish at the bottom of the cage near your bird. This should at least make your budgie a bit more comfortable but, again, your bird needs a vet.
