Bird ate sunflower seed shells

I rarely feed my bird sunflower seeds, but just gave her some and she ate the shells as well, probably two or three of them. Should I be super worried? Does anyone have experience with this?

Are you sure she didn't just break the shell up?
My cockatiel does that on occasion when she gets a sunflower seed

My cockatoo will chew the empty shells in front of me. I interpret it as him saying that sure was good, now give me more.
