I came home from work yesterday night to a surprise! A new cockatiel! A friend of mine had one fly down to her and asked my roommates who wanted a cockatiel! Im posting him/her on craigslist for lost birds. So far they seem friendly. Time will tell. I don't know how to tell age.
@Tiel Feathers I have a question. My roommates put them in the dining room that is connected by a door to the bird room. The door was open. For a few hours. Is it too late to quarentine?

Better slightly late quarantine than never quarantine! Especially as they weren’t in contact or super close to each other. Just follow normal quarantine procedures to minimize further exposure.

You can also put a note on parrotalert.com
Post in local bird FB groups and alert the local shelters.
Call and advise local vets, even non avian ones.
Don´t include photos, get them to tell you what the bird looks like and provide a photo of them with said bird.

I agree with Fluffypoptarts about the quarantine.

I agree, better late than never with the quarantine. At least they weren’t too close. Unless the bird is very young, it most likely will be too hard to tell how old he is.

Alright. I'm going to talk to the local bird store soon. If any store/shelter has info, it'd be the parrot store. Maybe take her in to look at her leg band.

Snap a photo to avoid having to take her in.

I listed him/her and told the bird store today. No one has popped up yet. I wish there was an organized database for leg bands. It would make things easier.
