Sarah, while it is a neat idea to check into, I want to reassure that many parrots live happy healthy lives with one leg and even no feet. You guy is lucky to have you and you him!

It is so amazing what is being done to help these guys. Some years ago there was a MM2 in Fl that lost both legs to mate aggression. Prosthetics were made for both of her legs.
