Big cage

I am renovating another room a rec room at one end I am going to build a 4 foot x 13 foot enclosure for the birds I am going to build a floor to ceiling wall to wall stainless steel wire mesh wall.It will have a man door and a couple food and water doors there is a nice big window at one end.I want a big safe place for bird bird and Tu Tu for when we go out.Plus I want to keep them from wrecking All my hard work.They are fine when they are with us but left alone they get into everything.Plus it will be easier on poop patrol, a pastime that keeps us very busy.If anyone has any suggestions or experience in this type of endeavour ,please feel free to share your advise

Even though I am building a huge cage the birds will still be out a lot and coming to the bedroom with us at night.That situation hasn't changed a bit

Sounds like an awesome project. I'd love to see pictures. I'd love to do a custom cage for my bird. I wish you all the best with it

I will do pics .bird bird layed an egg so that answers that question.I thought she was a she because every once in a while she would do a mating dance on top of me.I had to be sure to only scratch her head but still pay attention to her . So far so good no negative behavior or plucking or any of the other things a frustrated bird would do.
